Her blonde hair is now longer and styled into a small roll adorned with a floral kanzashi. In Soulcalibur VI, Setsuka's appearance seemingly differ from her past appearances but retain elements from both. Her hair is styled into a simple ponytail and adorned with a floral hair clip, which evokes her east-meets-west theme. Soulcalibur IV marks the first time where Setsuka is depicted with blonde hair (which is her canonical natural hair color). She retains her black geta shoes from the previous games. She sports a new kitsune tattoo on her right arm. Her right sleeve is let loose to allow her to draw her sword more quickly. ![]() She wears a new white and red kimono with cherry blossom patterns that she wears on one sleeve fastened on the hip with a purple sash. ![]() In Soulcalibur IV, Setsuka's design is given a little overhaul to more emphasize her samurai attributes. Her Soulcalibur III design is notable for being the only time that Setsuka is depicted with black hair. Her kimono also has a distinctive Griffin pattern that is seen more commonly in western cultures. As part of her east-meets-west theme, her design is also made as a reminiscent to The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. She wears a red kimono that hang loose over her shoulders, as well as a pair of black geta shoes. As part of her geisha theme, her hair is styled into a Shimada adorned with a gold kanzashi. Soulcalibur VI has no release date as of yet, but will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. It may have been a given that Maxi would finally make his appearance with the other two already included, but fans of the character can now rejoice at his concrete inclusion in the new game. It's worth noting too that Maxi makes up the final piece of a trifecta of related Soulcalibur staple characters to have come to the game, the other two being Xianghua and Kilik who were confirmed earlier in 2018. Players are going to have to utilize every little bit of Maxi's speed to dizzy up their opponent and take advantage of the confusion. However, that also means occasionally leaving himself open due to his relatively short-ranged weapon and need to get close to his opponents. ![]() If the video above is any indication, it would appear that many of his strengths have been left intact. Maxi has always been a character that was reliant on sheer speed, interrupting enemy attacks, and mixing his moves between attacks with his nunchaku and a myriad of kicks and throws to combo up his opponents. It would appear much of his brash and arrogant nature, as well as his naval fashion and sensibilities, still make up the foundation of Maxi for his new arrival. The trailer, revealed on features Maxi and his stage - seemingly an elaborate port of ships - as the character's style is demonstrated against much of the known Soulcalibur VI roster. In a new reveal trailer from Bandai Namco, regular Soulcalibur staple Maxi made his appearance with his trademark style of swift moves, throws, and misdirection. Soulcalibur VI is about to get it's share of tricky martial arts and style. ![]()
